The Commercial CoolSaver Program offers FREE tune-ups (value of up to $800), and instant discounts are available for additional improvements.

  • Refrigerant top-up ($100 - $240/unit instant discount)
  • Demand controlled ventilation ($1,500 - $3,000/unit instant discount)
  • Rooftop Unit (RTU) controls ($1,000 - $3,000/unit instant discount)
  • Upgrade to an electronically commutated motor (ECM) for Fan-powered variable air volume (VAV) units ($250 - $600/unit instant discount)
  • Notched or Synchronous belts for HVAC systems ($25 - $450/unit instant discount)

The Program Participant Agreement between you and the Independent Electricity System Operator (the "IESO") (the "Participant Agreement") governs your participation in the Program. This Program is offered and funded by the IESO and provides qualifying York Region commercial facilities with FREE AC tune-ups and instant discounts for the installation or implementation of eligible energy-efficiency measures as further described in the Program Requirements.

To participate in the Program, you must read and agree to the terms and conditions set out in the Participant Agreement prior to December 31, 2024 and meet the following eligibility requirements (the "Eligibility Requirements"), including those related to the facility where the eligible measures are to be installed (the “Facility”):*

By signing and submitting this online application form, you confirm your consent to, and agree to comply with and be bound by, the terms of the Participant Agreement.

If the IESO accepts your application to participate in the Program and signed Participant Agreement, subject to the terms and conditions of the Participant Agreement, you will be eligible to receive a financial incentive ("Participant Incentive") for each eligible measure to be installed or implemented. You will be responsible for paying the remaining "Participant Contribution" amount.

Prior to acceptance of your online application form and Participant Agreement by the IESO, no binding obligations are created, and the IESO has no obligation to provide any financial incentives or install or implement any eligible measures under the Program.
